Sweet Zer0 was founded in August 2022 by sibling entrepreneurs Amelia and Elliott Dodd.
It began as a school summer-holiday project looking at the environmental impact of everyday products and their packaging. That grew into learning how businesses can work more sustainably and help tackle climate change – and then into a business of our own.
Inspired by Lauren at Zero Waste Torfaen, we set out to create a luxury sweet shop that doesn't just taste great, but makes a real environmental difference.
What we stand for
- Vegan sweets only. Good vegan sweets are hard to find, so after a lot of testing (and tasting) we source the best ones from across the UK and pack them into huge 1kg bags.
- Packaging that doesn't cost the earth. Everything we send is recyclable or compostable, and made from recycled materials.
- A tree with every order. Planting a tree with every order is at the heart of the business, with the goal of growing a 1,000-tree forest.
Food safety comes first
In March 2023, aged just six, Amelia completed her Food Hygiene & Safety (Level 1) certificate.
